It ensures that all workers are informed when disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against them and that they have the right to participate and to be heard in any disciplinary procedure that concerns them.

It ensures that adequate and accurate records are available relating to all cases of disciplinary actions with the appropriate evidence that workers have been duly informed about the actions taken.
